Since 1998, the Wildlife Trust of India has been a champion for nature conservation. From Kashmir's Pir Panjal mountains to Kerala's mangrove forests, WTI has made a difference by safeguarding key-stone and lesser-known species, engaging communities, reducing human-wildlife conflict, and fighting illegal wildlife trade. Their initiatives include wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, forest staff training, and securing critical habitats across India.
